The Liassidi Palace Hotel is housed in a 15th century Venetian gothic building located 300 metres from the famous San Marco square. The hotel's 27 guestrooms have a detailed, classically-styled decor with light coloured oak and gold carved headboards, brass and glass tables and large canvas reproductions of important Venetian works. Venice Marco Polo airport is 20 kilometres from the hotel. The hotel's concierge can arrange private water taxi from the hotel's privately owned landing stage on the canal. Journey time to the train/bus station and taxi point is 30 minutes. A public boat (the Alilaguna) can also be caught at St. Mark's pier and the journey time is 1 hour. Once at the station, bus/train and taxis can be taken to the airport....
